Responsible Gambling

Last updated: March 2026.

Vegastars is committed to providing a safe gambling environment for Australian players. Gambling is entertainment. It is not a reliable source of income and carries real financial risk. This page describes the tools available to you, the signs of problem gambling, and where to get help.

Our Approach

Vegastars operates on the following basis:

  • Gambling is for entertainment, not financial gain
  • Players should only spend what they can afford to lose
  • Trying to recover losses by continuing to play usually makes things worse
  • Any player can request restrictions or close their account without consequence
  • Players showing signs of harm will be treated with care and pointed to appropriate support

Signs That Gambling May Be a Problem

Gambling may be causing harm if you notice:

  • Spending more time or money gambling than you planned
  • Using money set aside for rent, bills, or food
  • Feeling the urge to bet more to get the same level of excitement
  • Feeling low, anxious, or irritable when not gambling
  • Returning to try and recover losses
  • Keeping the extent of your gambling from family or friends

If any of these apply, please use the tools below or contact a support service.

Tools in Your Account

All of the following are available through your account settings or by contacting our support team:

Deposit Limits: Set a cap on how much you can deposit per day, week, or month. Reductions apply straight away. Requests to raise a limit go through a cooling-off period before taking effect.

Loss Limits: Set a ceiling on losses over a chosen period. Play pauses once the limit is reached and resumes when the period resets.

Session Limits: Set a maximum session length. You will be notified as your limit approaches and the session will end automatically when reached.

Reality Checks: Receive periodic in-session alerts showing how long you have been playing and your total wagers for that session.

Take a Break: Suspend your account for a set period. Options are 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. No deposits or gameplay are possible during a break, and it cannot be shortened once activated.

Self-Exclusion: Request permanent exclusion from the platform. Your account is closed, re-registration is blocked, and all marketing stops immediately. Contact our support team via live chat or email to request this.

BetStop: National Self-Exclusion

Australian players can register with BetStop at www.betstop.gov.au to exclude themselves from all Australian online wagering services in a single registration. Vegastars participates in and enforces BetStop exclusions. Registration is free.

Protecting Minors

No one under 18 may register or use Vegastars. Age is verified as part of our standard account process. Parents and guardians are encouraged to use parental control software to block access to gambling sites from shared or family devices. If you believe a minor has registered, contact our support team immediately.

Marketing to At-Risk Players

Vegastars does not send promotional material to players who have self-excluded, taken a break, or been identified as potentially at risk. If you have opted out of marketing and continue to receive promotional messages, let us know and we will address it promptly.
